Novocure is a global publicly‑traded commercial‑stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor‑treating‑fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumours. TTFields therapy is a non‑invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumour progression by inducing tumour cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumour indications – non‑small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer and other types of solid cancers.Device Support Specialist, Madrid – The role blends technology, patient care and a desire to make a meaningful impact. Travel is required on a regular routine and you will operate a company car.ResponsibilitiesPlan and conduct patient visits every 4 weeks (2 weeks for clinical patients), organising all necessary materials.Provide comprehensive training and refresher courses for all Novocure medical devices to patients and their families.Regularly check therapy devices, replace defective components, and troubleshoot equipment issues at patients' homes.Manage device inventory, log patient interactions in the database, and oversee logistic orders and returns.ProfileCompleted training/education in health care.Professional experience in patient care.Strong communication skills, empathy, and a positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willing to travel on a regular basis with a company car (valid driving licence required).Good understanding of Spanish and English.Additional InformationSeniority level : AssociateEmployment type : Full‑timeJob function : Health Care ProviderIndustries : Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Medical Equipment Manufacturing, and Biotechnology ResearchWe are looking forward to receiving your application through our ApplicantPortal.
