Senior People Operations Specialist The challenge We are seeking a proactive and versatile HR Generalist to join our team in Spain. The position requires a good understanding of HR processes, employment law, and best practices, as well as the ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner to business leaders and employees, ensuring that HR policies, processes, and initiatives are implemented consistently and effectively in the Country. What you will do Key Responsibilities HR Operations & Compliance Manage day-to-day HR activities, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies. Oversee employee lifecycle processes: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and offboarding. Ensure consistent application of HR policies. Employee Relations & Engagement Act as a point of contact for employees and managers, addressing HR-related queries and issues. Support initiatives to promote employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, and organizational culture. Mediate and resolve employee relations matters in a fair and consistent manner. Talent Management & Development Partner with managers to identify training and development needs. Support succession planning and career development initiatives. Facilitate performance review processes. Recruitment & Employer Branding Manage end-to-end recruitment processes in collaboration with hiring managers. Build strong relationships with external recruitment partners where necessary. Contribute to strengthening the company’s employer brand in the region. HR Systems & Reporting Maintain accurate HR data and records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with GDPR. Prepare regular HR reports and analytics for management review. What you need to succeed Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or Law. A postgraduate qualification or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and/or Administration will be considered a plus. Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience. good knowledge of Spanish labor law Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Fluency in English (mandatory); additional European languages are an advantage. Experience with Workday HRIS or other HR systems is preferred.
