Accessibility Project Coordinator

The position of Accessibility Project Coordinator is a key player at TransPerfect. Project Coordinators execute all Accessibility projects from the start to the finish and serve as a single point of accountability for their successful completion. Individuals in this entry-level role are more inclined to stick in a Project Management-oriented career path (working to become an Executive or Senior Project Manager), specialized positions related to Accessibility and Technology related to it or a Management-oriented career (working to become a Team Lead or Department Manager, for instance). Position responsibilities: Be responsible for the entire life-cycle of all Accessibility Services projects assigned to the individual Juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Understand and abide by individual project instructions Liaise with Sales staff to clarify project parameters Maintain a mindset of “make it better” at all times, proactively identifying areas for improvement and suggesting alternatives to enhance quality and efficiency Establish and maintain excellent relationships with internal partners and external vendors globally Perform quality checks to ensure that all projects perfectly comply with instructions and are perfect Communicate any issues/problems/caveats or additional information to Sales staff as soon as that information is available Research and understand all industries that TransPerfect markets to including industry leaders, current events and any other pertinent data Investigate/resolve client complaints, problem solve, and work with Quality Assurance/Management to ensure that appropriate systemic changes are implemented Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor Essential skills and experience required: Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent Superior written and spoken communication skills in English Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Effective time management Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Team player able to work in multicultural environments, collaborating with international stakeholders Proactive, own-it attitude Desired skills and experience: Knowledge of additional languages at professional working proficiency Experience coordinating projects and assignment of resources Previous experience or exposure to Document Accessibility TransPerfect and its companies provides equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by local law.
