Then this position might be right up your alley.The EBMT is a non-profit medical and scientific organisation which hosts a unique patient registry providing a pool of data to perform studies and assess new trends.Our mission Save and improve the lives of patients with blood-related disorders.Your mission Ensuring data accuracy and quality through programming, quality assurance, and maintenance of registry systems, as well as supporting data governance. The position is temporary, covering the paternity leave of the senior IT analyst.Responsibilities and Tasks Assist EBMT members with data reporting tasks, data quality activities and data analysis, using a BI tool or the EBMT Registry database.Implement tools to streamline error checking and error correction. Provide support in the implementation of software for database to database electronic transmission of data.Update and maintain electronic data collection forms in the EBMT Registry.Regular reviews of the database functioning and identifying (possible) problems and risks.Quality assuranceSupport in ensuring database security and compliance with the latest developments.Requirements Fluent in English, excellent oral and written skills.Bachelor's degree in IT or related area.Strong experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Excel, R or Python.Experience in coding best practices and collaborative development tools (i GitHub / GitLab ).Experience in CI/CD workflows.Knowledge of ArgoCD for managing Kubernetes deployment.Knowledge of PostgreSQL databases for querying and optimisation.Knowledge of Docker or other container service provider.Knowledge of Airflow and MWAA.Good communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with people in a multicultural environment.Analytical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills. Proactive. Team player.
