Sr. Solution Architect, EU SSO – AmazonAmazon Madrid, Community of Madrid, SpainIn this role within EU New Seller Success organization you will be responsible for deploying, maintaining and improving high‑impact solutions to enhance Seller identification, acquisition and growth processes. We are looking for an experienced individual contributor engineer who combines superb technical development and leadership capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. You will be part of a start‑up like team, working across regions, with recruitment, product and engineering teams to deliver on ambitious roadmaps. If you are seeking an iterative environment where you can drive innovation and apply state‑of‑the‑art technologies to solve complex challenges, this role is a good fit for you.Key responsibilitiesHelp drive architecture and technology choices that enable efficient, secure and robust solutionsOwn development of features during full development lifecycleOwn operational excellence, security, availability and results of software solutionsWrite high‑quality, efficient, testable code and recommend improvements in development, maintenance and system standardsHave a strong technical ability, great communication skills and motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environmentBasic qualificationsExperience programming with the following software programming languages: Python, TypeScript and SQL/NoSQLExperience in leading the definition and development of multi tier architecturesExperience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification and operationsExperience of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) new and existing systems in AWSExperience partnering with product or program management teamsExperience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering teamPreferred qualificationsExperience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networkingCloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalentExperience building generative AI and agentic AI solutions in a dynamic fast paced environmentEEO StatementAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
