We are looking for a Platform Engineer to help our team improve and scale Traefik Labs products. If you’re excited about working in a fast-paced Cloud Native and Kubernetes environment where every contribution counts, and you want to make a direct impact on products used by thousands of developers worldwide, this role is for you. Your Mission: You will maintain and enhance our cloud platforms using GitOps best practices while ensuring compliance with SOC 2 standards You will work hands-on with our cutting‑edge Infrastructure-as-Code stack across multiple cloud providers You will contribute to our open source projects – including Traefik – as well as our commercial offerings: API Gateway, AI Gateway, and API Management solutions You will support our global user base, troubleshooting issues and gathering feedback to drive continuous improvement You will participate in conferences & meet‑ups – share our story, represent Traefik Labs, and learn from the cloud‑native community What you’ll bring: You love technical challenges and solving complex problems Open‑Source technology is part of your culture – you believe in collaboration and transparency Security, automation, and testing matter to you – you never compromise on code quality You work as a team, not as an individual, and you thrive in collaborative environments You have hands‑on experience with modern cloud infrastructure and an eagerness to learn and innovate You always keep the user experience in mind – from internal teams to end-users, delivering a seamless experience is part of your definition of \"done\" This position calls for the following qualities: You’re confident communicating in English: as a distributed company with team members in many countries, English is our working language A very strong team spirit: we believe the quality of our team is the number one asset of the company Extreme focus on meeting goals: We are fast‑growing, but this is just the beginning; we are an industry leader that strives for perfect execution A creative mind who loves to share: while accomplishing goals requires focus, we do not work in silos; innovating and sharing matter to us Anything from a serious interest to a definite passion for Open Source Remote‑first mindset: We embrace remote work, but our team meets regularly in person.
