At VISTA Investments , we are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (Spain) to take full financial ownership of our Spanish platform and act as a key strategic partner to senior leadership and our US-based finance team. This is a senior finance leadership role within a growing international hospitality investment and development group. The position is focused on financial ownership, governance, oversight and decision-making, rather than day-to-day accounting execution. The Role As CFO for Spain, you will be accountable for the financial integrity, governance and performance of the Spanish business.

You will lead the finance function with the support of a Head of Accounting, who will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, closures and reporting execution.

Your role

will focus on financial ownership, structure, oversight and decision support, ensuring that financial information is reliable, transparent and aligned with group standards. You will work closely with senior management and the US finance team in a complex multi-entity and SPV-based environment, helping scale financial governance as the platform continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Overall ownership of financial reporting, statutory compliance and data quality in Spain, ensuring accuracy and transparency through the Head of AccountingOversight of budgeting, forecasting and financial performance monitoringReview and continuous improvement of financial planning, reporting and control processesFinancial analysis and insight to support senior management decision-makingClose collaboration with senior leadership on planning and financial prioritiesConsolidation, treasury, liquidity and cash-flow management across entities and SPVsDesign and monitoring of financial controls, policies and governance frameworksCoordination of audits, tax compliance and external advisorsLeadership and structuring of the Spanish finance functionClose collaboration with the US finance team to ensure alignment and consistencyProfile Senior finance leader with experience in financial ownership, governance and controlProven background in multi-entity / group environmentsBig Four and/or relevant industry experience highly valuedOwnership-driven, structured and pragmatic leadership styleExperience working in international environmentsFull professional English requiredImportant to Note This role is not:an FP&A-only positiona banking, investment or advisory rolea hands-on operational accounting roleThis position is ideal for a CFO or CFO-track profile who wants clear ownership of the financial function, a strong operational accounting leader reporting into them, and real impact on business decisions.
