The Network Security Architect (m/f/d) is responsible for designing the overall network security framework, ensuring the organization's network is resilient to evolving threats. They define security policies, develop strategies for network segmentation, and align security infrastructure with business needs.LocationPlease note that the working location for this position will be in Madrid city centre , where we are currently setting up a new office location. Until the office is fully set-up within the next few months, you will have the possibility to work flexibly from home-office and continue with a hybrid working model afterwards. This position is not a fully remote position, and an onsite presence will be required once our office location is ready.Creating passion: your responsibilitiesDesign and implement secure network architectures (e.g. segmentation, DMZ, remote access) for data centers, multi-cloud and hybrid environmentsDefine Security Best Practices and Architecture security solutions for IT, OT and Industrial NetworksDevelop Zero Trust security models, network segmentation strategies, and microsegmentationLead network security assessments, projects, policies, standards, and guidelinesAdopt and promote a security-by-design approach with the different stakeholdersOversee Selection and Deployment of network security technologies and vendors (Firewalls, SD-WAN, NAC, IDS/IPS)Foresight technological development and anticipate impact on network architectureActively contribute to the Coporate Information Security architecture community, sharing insights and best practicesEnsure network security aligns with NIST, ISO 27001, GDPRCollaborate and Work Closely with IT, DevOps, and IS teamsContributing your strengths: your qualificationsBachelor's/Master's in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field3+ years in cybersecurity, preferably in Network Security ArchitectureFollowing certificates are preferred; CISSP, GIAC, TOGAF as well as Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)English is a Must, German and French are a plusUnderstanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO27001, NIST)Good understanding of network security concepts and protocolsDeep understanding of security architectures and frameworks (e.g. Zero Trust)Our commitment to you: your benefitsAttractive salary and social benefitsFlexible and hybrid workingFreedom for creative workSafe and secure workplaceIndividual development and training opportunitiesMeal voucherLife and accident insuranceExclusive offer for a premium private health insurance packageBonus payments for Christmas and holidays, based on the collective agreementPlease only use the online application option.
