Hi,At IOT, we continue to grow, we’re excited to announce a new professional opportunity within the company: Chemical Engineer , a key role to execute the global product strategy for one or more of IOT’s business lines.Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Chemist or Chemical Engineer with expertise in radical photopolymerization to join our innovative team in a breakthrough project on lens manufacturing by Threshold Volumetric Printing.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with international teams to design, formulate, and optimize photopolymerizable systems for volumetric printing lens manufacturing applications.Conduct experimental work on radical photopolymerization processes, ensuring reproducibility and scalability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate photopolymerization into a volumetric printing lens manufacturing workflow.Analyze and interpret data to improve material performance and processing efficiency.Required QualificationsMaster’s degree or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Polymer Science, or equivalent professional experience.Demonstrated experience in radical photopolymerization, either through:Professional projects, orAcademic research (Master’s thesis or Ph.D. dissertation).Strong understanding of polymer chemistry and photoinitiator systems.Preferred QualificationsHands‑on experience with acrylates and urethanes in photopolymer formulations.Practical knowledge of 3D printing technologies, especially volumetric printing.Familiarity with rheology, curing kinetics, and mechanical characterization of polymers.Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team environment.Skills & CompetenciesAnalytical and problem‑solving skills.Excellent communication and documentation abilities.Proficiency in laboratory techniques and safety protocols.Why Join Us?Opportunity to work on innovative materials for next-generation manufacturing.Collaborative environment with a focus on research and development.Competitive compensation and professional growth.What do we offer you?Because we know that talent deserves care, at IOT you’ll enjoy benefits such as:23 vacation days + 14 public holidays + 2 extra weeks during Easter and Christmas (after 4 months)Flexible schedule and shorter working hours on Fridays and during summerPrivate health insurance (after 4 months)Birth bonus of €5,0002 free pairs of lenses per year#J-18808-Ljbffr
