Mercaux’s In-Store Clienteling and CX Unified Commerce Platform empowers retailers to deliver exceptional shopping experiences, both in-store and remotely, to boost sales, loyalty, and profitability.

A single app for Store Associates offers assisted selling, endless aisle, clienteling & appointments management, through to in-store interest capture, remote selling, mPOS, Intelligent Task Management, Store Associate performance Dashboards, fulfillment & returns. Self-service customer solutions include progressive web apps, digital fitting rooms, self-checkout kiosks, and appointment bookings.

The MACH-certified modular platform allows for flexible transformation at the retailer’s pace - start with assisted selling or clienteling, or deploy digital fitting rooms. Additional solutions, such as self-checkout and remote selling, can be easily added at a later date.

Mercaux has an international team spread across London and Barcelona offices with some employees working remotely.

Job & Location

We are looking for a remote Technical Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Support existing clients and ensure all data is captured & issues are investigated and rectified thoroughly.
  • Act as the key interface between Mercaux and our clients and partners.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities that will include client-facing responsibility, attending client meetings to explain our solutions from an integration standpoint, and answering critical technical questions.
  • Manage the integration process for new clients & coordinate delivery of the Mercaux product to the go-live launch date.
  • Become the technical project lead after a deal is closed, working closely with our Client Success team throughout the integration process.
  • Analyze and investigate any concerns, bugs or discrepancies, using SQL and other tools, and work with the development team to offer client solutions quickly and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • A commercial approach – able to translate technical requirements into business terms and communicate these to our clients.
  • Excellent data analysis skills - experience with data warehousing or similar and ability to transfer data into readable datasets.
  • Ability to disseminate information to understand potential issues, client or internally, and relay that information to the right ears, or offer quick & effective solutions.
  • Experience with different tools for data analysis, specifically SQL, and ideally (but not essential) pandas, jupyter etc., and advanced Excel.
  • Strong database skills, able to retrieve data through SQL commands.
  • Good knowledge of API requests.
  • Demonstrable ability to read and write technical documentation.
  • Understanding of different data formats, XML, CSV, JSON, etc.
  • Superlative written and verbal communication skills, able to explain and inform internal and external stakeholders, including clients.
  • Experience in working cross-functionally, effectively, and calmly.
  • Experience working with a Sales team is a plus.
  • Experience working in retail tech is a plus.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
