Job Description Summary
The Field Service Engineer will provide on-site reactive service for bioscience products located within hospitals, research centers, and other healthcare facilities. Additionally, the Field Engineer will collaborate in the installation and upgrades of these systems and secondarily implement a preventative maintenance program. They will participate in pre-installation testing, reconfiguring, and documentation of uncovered technical issues of all applicable systems.
Main Responsibilities
Start-up new systems on-site
Preventive maintenance of the equipment as well as the administrative tasks that such maintenance entails.
Corrective visits on-site to solve any incident that may occur.
Various administrative tasks related to their functions: preparation of expense reports incurred, control of your stock of spare parts (inventory, request, receipt, shipments, RMA, etc ...)
About You
Degree in Electronic or Telecommunications or equivalent experience/education. In addition to well-developed Field Service Technician skills, you’ll also bring:
Experience will be positive in BD or another company.
Professionalism, autonomy, and organizational capacity.
Self-training capacity.
Assess and analyze each situation comprehensively before requesting support.
