Staff Software Engineer – Back-End Team Lead

Sipay stands at the forefront of payment innovation as a distinguished Payment Service Provider, boasting over a quarter-century of expertise. We operate under the agile brilliance of Scrum, enhanced by bi-weekly sprints and a guiding Scrum Master.

Back-End Team Lead: a seasoned and highly skilled Software Engineer to lead our flagship back-end team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Team Management.
  2. Project Management and Delivery.
  3. Architectural Design and Component Ownership.
  4. Performance Optimization, Reliability, and Security.
  5. Technical Strategy and Planning.
  6. Regulatory Compliance and Data Protection.
  7. Collaboration and Documentation.
  8. Cloud-Based Development and Migration.
  9. Risk Mitigation and Legacy Service Replacement.
  10. Innovation and Technology Evaluation.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. Strong proficiency in Java programming.
  3. Proven track record of designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems.
  4. Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot or Akka.
  5. API Development.
  6. Performance Optimization.
  7. Security.
  8. Cloud-Based Development.
  9. Database Management.
  10. Project Management.

Experience:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience and proven team management experience.
  2. Must be fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
