Predoctoral Researcher At The Nanoscale Bioelectrical Characterization Group (Phd_Gg)Join the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) as a Pre‑doctoral Researcher in the Nanoscale Bioelectrical Characterization Group. This role focuses on developing PhD thesis projects related to the modelling of organic electronic biosensors, within the Organic Bioelectronics Research Line.ResponsibilitiesDevelop analytical and/or numerical physical models of organic field‑effect transistors for bioelectronic applications (EGOFETs and OECTs).Perform time and frequency response analysis.Model electrophysiological recordings with organic field‑effect biosensors.Model scanning dielectric microscopy on organic field‑effect biosensors.Compare theoretical predictions with experimental results.QualificationsBachelor (BSc) and Master (MSc) in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.Self‑critical and capable of learning and expanding knowledge.Strong communication, teamwork, proactivity, commitment, collegiality, integrity, critical and analytical thinking skills.High level of English proficiency.PreferredBackground in theoretical physics, applied mathematics, solid‑state physics, or electronics.Programming and/or finite element numerical methods skills.Benefits & Working ConditionsFull‑time, 4‑year contract paid according to Spanish PhD rules.Work‑life balance measures: maternity & paternity leave, flexible schedule, teleworking, 23 paid holidays, 9 leave days for personal matters.Annual training catalogue, mobility grants, mentoring program, induction programme.Assistance for foreigners to obtain visa and residence permits.How to ApplySubmit an online application via IBEC's dedicated site before March 15th.
