With a turnover of €320 million and a staff of 1,200, it exports approximately 40 % of its total production primarily to the Middle East, North Africa and Latin America.Reporting directly to the Operations Director, this position is responsible for managing industrial functions for a designated perimeter, focusing on operational excellence, delivery, and team development.This leadership position commands an operational organization of more than 90 professionals, encompassing all industrial functions including production, process engineering, continuous improvement, and performance management. The Industry Manager ensures the delivery of business and operational objectives through effective resource allocation, operational excellence, and talent development.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute the Medium‑Term Industrial Plan (MTIP) and develop the multi‑year operating budget (MYB), directly influencing operating profit, industrial performance, and customer satisfaction.Ensure on‑time delivery of products and services while maintaining quality standards and customer satisfaction.Foster innovation and operational excellence by driving the industrialization of new products, processes, and standards in line with market and business strategy.Build and maintain high‑level relationships with commercial and institutional customers, internal engineering functions, and senior management, acting as a fundamental interface within and outside the company.Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements and promote a culture of safety and sustainability.Monitor industrial performance, optimise costs, improve efficiencies, and secure delivery performance to meet customer expectations.Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse and large team of approximately 90 professionals, promoting collaboration across cross‑functional teams to achieve strategic and operational goals.Apply thorough knowledge of labour legislation, shift scheduling, production policies and labour relations to effectively implement operational work plans and maintain compliant, efficient production environments.Education & QualificationsTechnical degree (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial or Physics) or equivalent technical background.Advanced training or certification in Business Management, Industrial Operations or Continuous Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) is highly valued.ExperienceMinimum of 15 years of professional experience in industrial environments, within the aerospace, space or high‑technology sector (automotive or similar).Experience managing an industrial plant or factory, demonstrating operational leadership and the ability to deliver production objectives.Proven track record of leading large multi‑disciplinary teams (80+ people) and managing industrial operations.Demonstrated experience in planning, budget management, and industrial projects.What We OfferFlexible schedule, 8 :00–9 :30 and 16 :30–18 :00.Thales Concilia: advantages, free services and reduced‑price alternatives.Free and healthy canteen.Discounts and special promotions on products and services through Club Ahorro.22 working days of vacation, 6 days of free disposal and non‑vacationable closing days at Christmas and Easter.Thales Flex: personalised flexible compensation plan allowing you to choose how to distribute your salary (health insurance, childcare vouchers, transportation and training).Annual bonus.Fixed profit bonus of €725.25.Shareholding programme: become a Thales shareholder.Pension plan with monthly contributions on your behalf.Wellness plan: thematic webinars and access to our company clubs.Medical and physiotherapy services at the workplace.We continuously create an inclusive, respectful and cooperative environment.At Thales Alenia Space we provide careers and not only jobs.
