We’re seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to join our Transport team in Barcelona, Madrid to help customers reach their destination by finding the best travel deals, combining more than 700 airlines and 100,000 flights worldwide every day to offer millions of combinations in real time of different products, like flights, trains and hotels. As a Java Software Engineer, you will: Proficient coding with Java or any object-oriented language. Promote and apply best practices, with strong data-driven capabilities and design pattern skills. Quality mindset: implement high-quality code that is clear, concise, and well tested. You understand the power of feedback and you know how to deliver praise and constructive feedback within your team, including code reviews and mentoring more junior colleagues. Good English level that will allow you to work in a multicultural environment. Experience with Applied AI Tools : Demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-powered coding assistants. Curiosity and eagerness to explore, experiment with, and integrate emerging AI-driven solutions into software development workflows. Collaboration with AI : Experience or interest in collaborating closely with AI tools as “pair programmers” to complement traditional software development practices. What’s in it for you?
