Data Engineer Barcelona (Hybrid) Candidates must be willing to work 3 days per week in the office in Barcelona, 2 days remote Availability: ASAP My client is the air transport industry's IT provider, delivering solutions for airlines, airports, aircraft and governments. Their technology powers more seamless, safe and sustainable air travel. They are looking to hire an experienced Data Engineer on a contract basis for a 6 month contract. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding and integrating data from various sources, including STREAM and ADBS. This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources such as STREAM and ADBS into our data warehouse. • Data Management: Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all integrated sources. • Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver integrated data solutions. • Optimize data pipelines and workflows for efficiency and scalability. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data integration processes and data flow diagrams. • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve data-related issues promptly to ensure seamless data integration and availability. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Experience: Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on data integration. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL tools. Experience with data integration platforms and data warehousing solutions. • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex data sets. •
