SAP Functional Consultant

Qualifications 3–5+ years of strong functional SAP experience (e.g., MM, SD, FI/CO, QM), ideally as an SAP consultant or functional analyst Proven experience in project management, PMO support, or methodology advisory roles within SAP environments Solid understanding of SAP project lifecycles, including S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, and cutover activities Hands‑on experience with SAP tools such as SAP Solution Manager , Change Management , and Release Management Mandatory experience working with ServiceNow, Jira, and Power BI for project workflows, incident/change processes, and reporting Knowledge of project management methodologies: PMI , Agile , Scrum , and Kanban Experience with ITIL practices, Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes, and compliance in regulated environments (e.g., GxP) Exposure to Power BI or other data analytics tools for reporting and performance dashboards Strong organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage global teams and external partners A proactive, improvement‑driven mindset — curious, collaborative, and not afraid to challenge the status quo Responsibilities Act as the operational lead for PMO activities: onboard new team members, coordinate trainings, maintain trackers, manage communications, and support day‑to‑day execution (~1/3 of time) Serve as a methodology expert , guiding SAP project teams, stakeholders, and implementation partners on best practices, project phases, tool usage, and governance standards (~1/3 of time) Drive continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing methodologies, proposing innovative tooling features, and increasing adoption across global SAP projects (~1/3 of time) Collaborate closely with SAP functional experts and project managers to ensure consistent application of project management and change management practices Support governance and audit readiness , ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., ITIL, GxP) Develop and deliver insights and reports on project performance, risks, and methodology adoption using dashboards and tracking systems Lead stakeholder engagement efforts to improve collaboration, transparency, and project outcomes across the SAP organization Contribute to the evolution of PMO frameworks, templates, and tool integrations that promote efficiency, alignment, and operational excellence Benefits Fast career growth through a personalized career path and salary review. 70% of our senior leaders started in entry‑level positions Enhance your skills through our Technology Academy catalog, Udemy platform, language classes, webinars, and workshops Take control of your learning with an annual personal budget and company‑paid certifications Enjoy flexible policies, remote work options, and excellent social benefits such as transport and meal vouchers, childcare support, and private health insurance Benefit from our WeCare program, supporting employees in critical situations Unlock your full potential, both professionally and personally Amaris Consulting is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
