Would you like to be a part of it?Job DescriptionProduction Engineer ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to production areas, optimising processes to achieve OEE objectives and production KPIsAnalyse and improve production efficiency, implementing strategies to reduce waste and enhance performanceDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processesCollaborate with quality control and product development teams to ensure products meet required standards and specificationsTroubleshoot equipment issues, implement preventive maintenance schedules, and liaise with suppliers to resolve technical problemsMonitor key production metrics, reporting findings to management and recommending innovative solutionsEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental standardsDrive continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of efficiency and quality across the organisationQualificationsEssential QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design and Product Development Engineering, or a related fieldProficiency in MS Office suite and administrative tasksFluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in production engineering or a related fieldKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologiesFamiliarity with quality control processes and standardsUnderstanding of health and safety regulations in manufacturing environmentsExperience with process analysis and optimization techniquesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications (CAD tools)Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detailExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teamsLean Manufacturing: Basic knowledge of Lean elements such as 5S, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, Kanban, Point‑of‑UsePokayoke, Process Mapping, SMED, etc.The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and a commitment to driving efficiency and quality in production processes.
