Job Introduction You will actively contribute to the definition, implementation, maintenance, development and continuous improvement of the technical means and platforms required to ensure the correct functioning, availability and security of Vidrala Group's IT systems. The Challenge As part of the IT Infrastructure department, your key responsibilities will include: Own and evolve our hybrid infrastructure (on‑prem & cloud) : Analyse, design, implement and continuously improve core platforms so they're highly available, scalable and secure, powering plants and teams across the Vidrala Group. Strengthen our cyber resilience : Deploy, administer and monitor security solutions (firewalls, SASE, AV / EDR, backups, identity & access management) and help us stay aligned with recognised standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIS2). Enable business‑critical systems : Support the installation and administration of key components (SAP Basis, operating systems, databases), and play an active role in migrations, upgrades and technical audits. Keep performance transparent and under control : Use monitoring tools to track availability and workload execution, turning insights into clear reports and actionable improvements. Resolve incidents fast and prevent the next ones : Triage and fix technical issues against defined SLAs, automate routine tasks where possible, and leave platforms healthier than you found them. Champion great user experiences : Support and train end users, sharing best practice and practical guidance that helps people get back to work quickly. Make knowledge easy to find : Document procedures, changes and interventions (runbooks, how‑tos, incident records) and keep the technical knowledge base up to date. Learn, share and improve, together : Contribute to training and cross‑team collaboration, bringing ideas that advance industrial digitalisation and continuous improvement. Embed compliance and good practice, every day, and step up when needed. The Key Requirements We're looking for a proven IT Infrastructure specialist who brings curiosity and passion as well as experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Advanced Vocational Training (CFGS) in Computer Systems Administration or a related field. Proven experience (+2 years) in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Background in network and systems administration, with a basic grounding in telecommunication. Hands‑on experience managing hybrid infrastructure (on‑premises and cloud), ensuring high availability, scalability and security. Proficiency with security solutions (firewalls, SASE, AV / EDR, backups, identity & access management) and alignment to recognised standards (ISO 27001, NIS2). Proficiency in both Spanish and English. Customer orientation, teamwork and problem‑solving skills are essential. Willingness to travel and flexibility when needed. What can we offer?
