Construction Technician

Description Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Construction Technician to join Europe’s largest airline group. This is an excellent time to join as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests per year within the next 10 years. The successful candidate will oversee a range of construction projects across Europe including Aircraft Hangars, Flight Simulator Facilities, Office Fitouts and many different and interesting construction projects. In this role, you will be overseeing a variety of projects and your main job is to ensure that the project is completed safely, on time and within budget. Please submit all resumes in English only Duties Promote Health and Safety as the key goal and implement Ryanair Health and Safety standards and culture Assume the role of Clients’ representative on all matters Collaborate with contractors, engineers, architects etc. on key specifications of the project Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports on cost, time and quality Cost: Ensure no project cost overruns and any change orders are agreed prior to implementation Time: The delivery date is crucial, the ability to see issues ahead and track against agreed programs Quality: Ensure that the project is delivered using best methods and engineering results Requirements BSc/BA in relevant Construction / Engineering Discipline Proven experience in Managing Construction Projects from inception to completion with 5+ years experience in a similar role and a track record of delivery Excellent working knowledge of Building Permitting and Environmental Permit procedures, as well as design development and preconstruction management Involvement in Building design and pathways to construction In-depth understanding of construction and project management principles Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards Good knowledge of MS Office essential & AutoCAD are essential Outstanding communication and written skills in English Excellent organizational and time-management skills A team player with leadership abilities Benefits Competitive salary Unrivalled career progression Competencies Budgets/Cost Control Managing for Results Negotiation Skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
