Job Description
What you’ll do

We are looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. Under the Guidance of the Outlet Manager responsible for supervising the team, ensuring the service is on point and solving any issue reported by the team.

  1. Support the Outlet Manager in any required task.
  2. Support the efficient operation of the F&B areas.
  3. Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant and general HACCP standards.
  4. Maintain and improve the guest experience / guest satisfaction.
  5. Coordinate opening and closing tasks.
  6. Manage food & beverage control including inventory, outlet pars, costs controls, potentials, mix of sales analysis for food & beverage, issue & returns and food standards.
  7. Implement agreed upon food & beverage policy and procedures throughout the property.
  8. Train and supervise staff on control policies and procedures.
  9. Monitor adherence to all control policies and procedures.
  10. Ensure team provides excellent service and continually strives to exceed expectations.
  11. Ensure service and other standards according to SOPs are adhered to.
  12. Ensure cash handling procedures are followed and all stock items are managed.
  13. Ensure that team is continually trained in product knowledge, all menus and Hotel initiatives.
  14. Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverage to meet set standards.
Qualifications
What we are looking for...
  1. +2 years of experience in hospitality within food & beverage.
  2. Some college and/or advanced training in food and beverage management valuable.
  3. Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English.
  5. You make people feel good - your team, guests and colleagues alike. You make a positive impact.
  6. You are an excellent relationship builder, confident in working with other teams and leaders; you’re passionate about what we can achieve together.
  7. You take ownership of important issues, solve problems, and make effective decisions.
