Applicants should apply via Amazon's internal or external careers site.Day in the Life The Integration Technician III will work closely with cross‑functional engineering, test, quality and operations teams on both first‑article hardware development and production hardware integration processes. This position requires skill and experience in a variety of areas, including mechanical assembly, avionics integration, rigging, electrical checkouts and environmental testing. In short, you will be responsible for a majority of the most critical tasks to build the LEO satellite, ensuring high quality, workmanship and safety standards are adhered to on a daily basis.Basic Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent3+ years experience in mechanical or electrical hardware assembly, test, and/or installationPreferred Qualifications Ability to use precision measuring instrumentsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentExperience in the aerospace industry, automotive industry, medical device industry, aviation, military or other high‑reliability operating environmentExperience in a fast‑paced production environmentExperience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirementsExperience with forklifts, cranes and heavy equipment (including previous certifications)A demonstrated ability in reading/understanding technical drawings, work instructions and standard operating proceduresSome basic knowledge of electrical, optical and mechanical systems, antennas, functional testing and/or satellite componentsAbility to use multiple types of precision measuring instrumentsAbility to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high‑paced, challenging work environmentAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. The base pay for this position ranges from $71,760/year in our lowest geographic market up to $80,080/year in our highest geographic market.
