Overview Apply for the Secondary Teacher (Science And/ Or Maths) role at Raoul Wallenberg International School in Palma, Mallorca, Spain. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry‑based lessons in Science and Maths (and potentially other subjects). Incorporate project‑based learning, service and experiential learning, education for sustainable development, and real‑world applications. Promote a cross‑curricular approach by collaborating with teachers of other subjects. Foster inclusion and differentiation to meet diverse learner needs. Use formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback. Maintain accurate records of student performance and manage student data. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in curriculum planning and assessment practices across year groups. Support character development through the integration of the school’s guiding principles and Class Connect Programme. Prioritise the emotional and social wellbeing of students and collaborate with the Student Life Coordinator and School Counsellor. Build meaningful relationships with students, families and the wider school community. Actively participate in the school’s professional development programme and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Lead clubs, activities or workshops that align with your interests and talents. Qualifications and Experience A degree in Secondary Education with specialisms in Mathematics, Science or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred). At least 2–3 years of teaching experience in secondary education, ideally within an inquiry‑based international or British school setting. Experience with international programmes such as the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), Cambridge International Curriculum and International Baccalaureate (DP). Proficiency in English (fluency in Spanish, Swedish, German or another language is an asset). A commitment to values‑based education supporting physical, social, emotional and academic development of all students. Successful adoption of teaching and learning technologies, such as AI‑powered tools, adaptive learning platforms and Google Workspace for Education. Flexibility and adaptability to teach across multiple subject areas in a growing school environment.
