About the job Verisure is Europe and Latin America's provider of monitored security for homes and small businesses, protecting more than 5.8 million customers, and adding a new customer every 10 working seconds. As part of this commitment to deliver new innovations, Verisure has launched a new project (the "Media Platform") to be the future video platform for the Group. This platform is a greenfield design, targeting to build a cloud native, serverless product that targets to use core AWS components to the extent possible. This new backend platform is being developed and built in conjunction with a new generation of security cameras that will be sold as an integral element of the Verisure alarm system. To develop this new product, Verisure has stood up a new team (the "Media Platform Team", or "MPT"), which is a hybrid team split between our Madrid, Spain and Malmö, Sweden development centers. About you To support the scale-up of the MPT, Verisure is looking for a partner which can provide development capacity to support and supplement Verisure's internal resourcing. The envisaged support will be set up as a mixed team framework, in which partner resources are fully integrated into the MPT's ways of working and tooling. You enjoy solving complex technical challenges and have a keen eye for quality and efficiency. You're communicative, collaborative, and eager to contribute to a team where knowledge sharing and innovation matter. Requirements: Between 3-8 years' experience as a backend developer Substantial experience working with AWS Experience working with at-scale IOT platforms, preferably including experience with video platforms Proven experience in designing and managing complex cloud infrastructures using CloudFormation. Valuation of knowledge in SAM (Serverless Application Model). Proficiency in automation and orchestration tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Chef). Experience in implementing QA processes and conducting software testing to ensure the reliability and quality of cloud-based applications. Proficiency in programming and scripting (e.g., Java, Python, Bash, PowerShell). Experience in configuring and managing monitoring and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana). Ideally, experience with at least some of the following AWS Components: Kinesis Video Streaming; IOT Core; Lambda; CloudFormation; S3; API Gateway; Cloudwatch) Experience working in agile set-ups, with a DevOps mindset Positive mindset, keen to design and build a cutting-edge IOT platform Fluent in English If you don't meet all the above checkpoints, don't worry.
