Global Head of Cyber Defense Centre (SOC / Cyber Operations) We’re partnering with a large, globally operating technology-led organisation to appoint a Global Head of Cyber Defense Centre. The scope is genuinely global, with teams distributed across regions and time zones, and a remit that combines strategic direction with real operational ownership. The successful candidate will set the long-term vision for the Cyber Defense Centre while ensuring day-to-day security monitoring, detection, and incident response operate seamlessly at scale. You’ll work closely with senior cybersecurity architects, threat intelligence and incident response teams, and executive stakeholders to continuously evolve the organisation’s defensive posture. You’ll be accountable for service quality, tooling strategy, KPIs, budget ownership, and the development of highly specialised cyber professionals in a complex, distributed environment. Proven senior leadership experience within cybersecurity operations, SOC, incident response, threat detection, or threat intelligence Demonstrated ownership of critical security services, including service quality, KPIs, and tooling decisions Experience managing budgets, planning investments, and prioritising resources at scale Existing connections within the wider global cybersecurity community Fluent English required; The role comes with competitive executive-level compensation, long-term incentives, and a culture that supports flexibility, inclusion, and continuous learning.
