This individual will participate directly in the development process to ensure that all software releases meet the highest quality standards. The individual is self‑motivated and results‑oriented with hands‑on experience in testing and deploying high quality enterprise‑level solutions in an Agile environment. A strong candidate will have excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and a proven ability to perform in a matrixed organization.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain a scalable test automation framework using Playwright (JavaScript / TypeScript)Translate an existing comprehensive manual regression suite into a stable, maintainable automated test suiteDevelop automated coverage for:Application shell / routingFlutter Web‑based game experiencesNode map and adaptive learning flowsEstablish best practices for:Test architectureLocator strategies (especially for Flutter Web)Test data managementReporting and failure diagnosticsIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar)Enable automated test execution triggered by: Merge requests, deployments, scheduled regression runsCollaborate closely with: Manual QA, Software Engineers, DevOps/Platform teamsEvaluate and integrate device and browser testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, AWS Device Farm, etc.)Provide guidance on test strategy, coverage gaps, and automation ROIMentor QA team members on automation concepts and test designRequired Qualifications:Bilingual English and Spanish (verbal and written) in a business settingYou have a solid understanding of the full software development life cycle, from ideation to releaseYou have excellent attention to detailExperience working in agile environments, participating in sprint ceremoniesStrong Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScriptHands‑on experience with Playwright or similar modern web automation frameworksExperience testing web applications at scaleSolid understanding of test automation framework designExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with Git‑based workflows (GitLab preferred)Strong understanding of QA fundamentals: test case design, regression strategy, release validation, end‑to‑end, API, performance and usability testingAbility to work effectively with canvas‑rendered or non‑traditional web UIs5+ years of experience in a QA rolePreferred QualificationsExperience testing Flutter Web or other canvas‑based frameworksExperience with Appium for mobile automationExperience with cross‑device and cross‑browser testing platformsExperience working on educational products or large user‑facing web applicationsExperience building automation frameworks from scratchExposure to performance, accessibility or visual regression testingAbility to mentor junior testersFamiliarity with education technology productsAn Equal Opportunity EmployerAge of Learning, Inc.
