At Qaracter , we are looking for a Java Developer to join a strategic banking project, working on critical systems in a demanding and highly technical environment. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong academic background in Java , who enjoy working close to production environments and complex batch processes. You will collaborate with both IT and business teams, contributing to the stability, evolution, and reliability of core systems. What You’ll Do Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot Participate in the design, development, and support of banking solutions Work with batch scheduling and job automation using Control-M Create and maintain Shell scripts for automation and operational support Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile or structured delivery environment Support deployments, incidents, and continuous improvements Work onsite with the client 2 days per week , fostering close collaboration ✔️ Mandatory Requirements Advanced Java level , Strong experience with Spring Boot Hands-on experience with Shell scripting Experience working with Control-M Availability to work 2 days onsite at the client’s location ⭐ Nice to Have Experience with Struts Experience with Hibernate Previous exposure to banking or financial systems What We Offer Hybrid work model (on-site + remote flexibility) Competitive salary and full benefits package Training, certifications, and continuous learning opportunities Flexible retribution options (meal vouchers, transportation, childcare, private health insurance, etc.) International consulting environment with strong career development About Qaracter Qaracter is an international consulting firm providing business, financial, risk, technology, and operations advisory services.
