The role requires experience working in regulated environments with formal IT processes, security controls, and documentation practices. The IT Technician will support the maintenance of our Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring secure operations, proper access control, and compliance with privacy regulations. The hired person will play a key role in maintaining, securing, and optimising the company’s information technology infrastructure, ensuring full compliance with the ISO ***** standard. The candidate will provide technical support to internal teams, manage IT systems and cloud environments, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our Quality Management System (QMS). Responsibilities Manage user accounts, permissions, and secure access across company systems. Provide day-to-day IT support for devices, applications, and cloud services. Deploy, configure, and secure company laptops using Intune and endpoint protection tools. Coordinate with external MSPs for escalated issues and infrastructure support. Monitor system health, apply updates, and assist with backup and restore tasks. Support IT/security incident reporting and basic evidence collection. Help maintain IT inventories, documentation, and records. Contribute to security and data protection practices aligned with ISO *****, GDPR, and HIPAA safeguards. Required qualifications and skills Required degree: Vocational training or higher education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered. Specialty: Additional certifications or training in information security, systems administration, or cloud computing (e.g., AWS) will be strongly valued. Experience: 3+ years in IT administration, technical support, or network/system management. Experience working in environments aligned with ISO ***** and quality standards. Knowledge of access control, data protection, and basic risk management. Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune/MDM, Windows/Mac devices, and endpoint security. Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms (preferred). Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python). Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in collaboration with MSPs and internal teams. High attention to detail and responsibility when handling sensitive data. Languages: English and Spanish. Professional relationship and compensation Type of professional relationship: Employment contract. Contract type: Permanent. Weekly hours: 20.
