We are looking for a forward-thinking Investment Manager with a strong background in Web3 to identify, assess, and manage investment opportunities within the Web3 ecosystem. The role will focus on identifying high-potential Web3 startups, DeFi protocols, decentralized applications (dApps), NFTs, and blockchain-based companies across various sectors.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of blockchain technology, tokenomics, and decentralized ecosystems, as well as significant experience in venture capital, private equity, or alternative investments in the Web3 space. This is a dynamic, fast‑paced opportunity to be at the forefront of the Web3 revolution, driving investments that shape the future of decentralized technologies.ResponsibilitiesLead research efforts into emerging trends and opportunities within the Web3 space.Develop and refine the firm’s investment strategy in Web3, identifying potential areas of growth (e.g., RWA, prediction market, AI × crypto, wallet, DeFi, etc.).Track the latest blockchain protocols, governance models, and tokenomics structures to keep the portfolio aligned with industry innovations.Source new investment opportunities in Web3 and blockchain startups, applications, and projects.Lead in‑depth due diligence processes, including technology assessments, tokenomics analysis, legal and regulatory reviews, and financial modeling.Conduct market analysis, competitive assessments, and risk evaluations of potential investments, especially related to Web3 ecosystem dynamics.Investment Evaluation & Decision MakingPrepare investment recommendations, financial models, and market analysis for investment committee approval.Evaluate and structure investments, including token purchases, equity deals, and other Web3‑specific instruments.Lead discussions on funding terms, exit strategies, and portfolio optimization in the rapidly evolving Web3 space.Oversee and manage the performance of Web3 investments, providing strategic advice and support to portfolio companies and projects.Assist portfolio companies with scaling their decentralized applications, improving tokenomics, navigating governance challenges, and optimizing blockchain protocols.Monitor regulatory and industry developments to ensure portfolio companies stay ahead of compliance requirements and market shifts.Stakeholder Communication & ReportingRegularly report on portfolio performance and industry developments to internal stakeholders and external investors.Develop presentations, reports, and updates for investment committees, LPs, and other key stakeholders.Educate internal teams and external partners on key Web3 innovations, risks, and regulatory challenges.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Technology, etc.) are a plus.5+ years of experience in investment management, venture capital, private equity, or a similar role with a focus on Web3, blockchain, or decentralized finance.Proven track record of sourcing and executing investments in Web3 startups, blockchain projects, and DeFi protocols.Strong understanding of Web3 technologies, including but not limited to RWA, AI × Crypto,
