The Field Service Engineer will provide service and maintenance along with troubleshooting and commissioning of the laboratory instruments in the Leica Biosystems portfolio, including network configuration and implementation of Digital Pathology equipment. This position is to provide onsite support, with occasional support within the EU where necessary. The ideal location will be Valencia, Alicante. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Provide support to end users to maximize customer satisfaction and to build the reputation of the products in the marketplaceVisit customers to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, fault analysis, and upgrades to achieve optimum customer care and ensure a professional repair in due time with effective and efficient working practices in line with set KPI’sOn site installation of pathological anatomy equipment’sExchange valuable information resulting from customer contacts to increase customer satisfaction and sales/service administration and communication, competent for our clientsCo-operate closely with and support the sales team with tasks such as basic training for customers, installations, demonstrations and system buildsDeliver accurate reporting, handling and timely submission of Salesforce reports, Expenses, Spares Stock management and other service documentationContribute to team goals of Customer Satisfaction, Return Call Rate, Preventative Maintenance Planning, Utilization and Service Financials The essential requirements of the job include:Educated in Mechanical, Electronic or Electronical TechnologyBasic Knowledge of network configuration and TCP/IP networking components in a Windows environmentProven ability to support electronic systems during entire Product Life CycleExcellent communication skills, verbal and written with ability to communicate across different levels internally and at customer sites It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:A Field Service rolePathological Anatomy What We Offer:Attractive Benefits Package Continuous training, support and focus on your personal developmentCooperation with experts from a wide range of functionsModern virtual working approach in an exciting international environment Career Progression: It is expected that the Field Service Engineer would have the potential to develop technically either broadly as a generalist or product specific as a specialist.
