Senior Security Architect

Overview We are currently recruiting for a Senior Security Architect , reporting to the Head of Security Architecture & Engineering, to lead our Security Architecture globally at Tunstall, positively impacting thousands of colleagues and millions of customers across 18 countries. This is an exciting time to join Tunstall as we embark on a period of transformation. You will be joining a newly created and growing global Information Security team within Tunstall and play a key part in the success of this transformation. This role could be based remotely or at our Madrid office on a hybrid basis. We are flexible on the number of days in the office, and on location, and would consider applications from people who can work at one of our other European offices (Malmo, Sweden or Manchester, UK). As our Senior Security Architect , you will work as part of a globally distributed information security team to drive the security architecture framework, contribute to flagship and key initiatives to embed security by design, and lead market research and selection of new security solutions across domains to meet capability needs. You will define, maintain and communicate the security architecture framework that expresses key design decisions, main architectural patterns, and security guidelines for architects, developers and engineers to follow in all countries and at group level. Key skills and experience To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in cybersecurity roles, with a substantial portion as a security architect. You will have a deep understanding of the cybersecurity market, trends, vendors and security solutions, and demonstrable experience defining security architectures for large-scale projects in complex, multinational organisations. Extensive and proven knowledge and experience with identity and access management, identity governance and administration, data security, application security and cloud security is required. You should have a strong technical background, a collaborative working style, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an analytical mindset to engage and influence senior stakeholders globally. You will be proactive, detail-oriented, able to take ownership of tasks, solve problems effectively, and tenacious in ensuring delivery of tasks and projects to time and quality. English: CEFR B2. Maintain a portfolio of security solutions and a capability view that supports our roadmap and priorities. Engage with vendors about future roadmaps and plan improvements for existing security solutions. Lead market research and security solution selection across domains including Identity and Access Management, Identity Governance and Administration, data security, application security, cloud security, and more. Define reference architectures for chosen solutions to integrate new security capabilities into our ecosystem. Continuously challenge the suitability of our security controls and tools, and identify opportunities to improve or replace. Prepare and communicate analysis reports describing gaps and suggested roadmaps. Support flagship and key Tunstall initiatives at global and regional levels to ensure security requirements are captured and that architecture and designs embed security by design. Conduct security architecture reviews to ensure new products and applications have the right controls in place. Maintain a constant innovative, challenging and constructive attitude toward continuous improvement.
