Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Python / ReactJS) Location: Fully Remote Experience: 5-7 years Contract Type: B2B Overview This role will be heavily involved in backend architecture and development, while also contributing to frontend improvements, modernisation, and the adoption of new technologies across the stack. You will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders, making key technical decisions and ensuring a high standard of code quality through comprehensive testing. Key Responsibilities Lead backend architecture and development with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and scalability. Design and build backend services capable of handling high traffic and frequent integrations. Contribute to frontend development using ReactJS, Typescript, Tailwind, and Vite. Drive technical decision-making and architectural enhancements to improve long-term code quality. Write well-tested, maintainable code across backend and frontend components. Implement end-to-end and integration tests using Playwright. Collaborate with engineering teams, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver user-friendly and efficient solutions. Participate in continuous improvement of the engineering stack, coding standards, and development processes. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience with Python. Strong understanding of backend architecture and distributed systems. Proven experience building web applications at scale. Hands-on experience with: FastAPI ReactJS, Typescript, Tailwind, Vite Solid testing mindset, including experience with Playwright for E2E and integration tests. Ability to work in an agile environment and contribute to technical discussions and solution design. Nice to Have Knowledge of infrastructure or cloud operations (not required, our infra team handles deployments and ops). Experience with high-availability or mission-critical systems.
