You will work with other Backend Developers and Product Managers throughout the software development life cycle. We would like to meet you if any of the following is true:You love writing performant codeUnsolved algorithm problems can give you sleepless nightsSlow running code gives you physical discomfortDebugging large and complex code base is your undisclosed desire.What you’ll do for us:Write code where bugs and performance optimizations are hard to findDesign efficient algorithms to solve software problemsPerform development testing for every new functionalityWrite unit tests to achieve maximum code coverageCollaborate with QA team to suggest functional testsTake ownership of the code you write, which includes:Fixing bug reports from QA or usersLooking for optimizations in the codeBeing passionate about the code you wroteBeing humble and cheerfulo9 Solutions primarily uses Microsoft stack for software development. Major part of the code is written in C# while some components are written in Java and Python. We are open to adopting other programming languages if there is a good reason to do that.What you’ll have:Experience: Prior experience in writing and debugging multithreaded codePrior experience of working on a large code baseExperience of using debugging toolsSome experience of working in a Linux environmentSkills:Good understanding of any programming language and a willingness to switch to Microsoft technologiesGood understanding of scripting languages such as PowerShell and shell scriptsProficiency in relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, OracleFamiliarity with performance and memory profiling tools such as ANTS, JVM profilerKnowledge of building large code bases using tools such as MSBuild, MavenCharacteristics:Passion to learn and adapt to new technologyWe really value team spirit: Transparency and frequent communication is key.
