We are looking for an experienced Project Manager (SAP CO / FICO) to join our client’s international structures in Barcelona, Spain. Our partner is a leading telco infrastructure company, operating in over 12 countries in Europe. Its business consists of telecommunications and broadcasting infrastructure services; security and emergency service networks and solutions for urban infrastructure. This person will be reporting to Head of IT Applications Backoffice. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a growing organization that is driving a major SAP S / 4HANA transformation. You’ll have the chance to shape core processes, collaborate with leading external partners, and make a tangible impact. The role is based in Barcelona with a flexible hybrid working model. Moreover, if you are motivated, proactive, resilient and goal‑oriented person ready to make an impact and collaborate in interesting projects – this role is for you What You’ll Do Lead the full project lifecycle of major SAP CO transformation initiatives – from planning and design through execution, go‑live, and post‑implementation support. Serve as the primary point of contact for business and external providers, ensuring alignment of business goals, seamless communication, and strong stakeholder relationships at all levels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope, objectives, and measurable success criteria. Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, driving accountability across timelines, budgets, resources, and risk management. Direct the projects for the implementation of technological solutions associated with the area of responsibility and collaborate in other projects of the unit, management or group. Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to diverse project teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and a culture of delivery excellence. Supervise and manage both internal and external teams, approximately 20 members (2 direct reports), to ensure project responsibilities are met efficiently and effectively. Track and monitor project progress, delivering clear, actionable status reports for executive leadership and key stakeholders. Champion process improvements and best practices in SAP program delivery, ensuring sustainable long‑term value for the client. Your Profile 5+ years of experience managing SAP projects, preferably in a consulting environment Proven track record of successfully delivering SAP CO or S4HANA implementations, upgrades, or enhancements across various modules and business functions Deep understanding of project management methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to navigate complex client environments and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
