About the Role We are building the "Central Nervous System" of our security department. You'll engineer integration layers, AI agents, reusable building blocks, and automated workflows that allow data, tools, and teams to operate at 100x scale. What You'll Do Build the "Single Brain": Engineer integration layer connecting our diverse security stack including Cloud, IR, IAM, AppSec, and GRC. Lead the AI Revolution: Design and deploy custom AI agents using MCP, turning static tools into active responders. Engineer reusable building blocks: Create modular code, functions, and workflows for self‐service by other security teams. Hyper‐automate operations: Automate GRC evidence collection, cloud remediation, or complex threat response workflows. Scale & measure everything: Implement systems to track health, efficacy, ROI, and turn activity into actionable metrics. Act as a cross‐domain enabler: Bridge Cyber Defense, Cloud Security, and Risk Management, understanding pain points and building automated solutions. What You Bring 5–7 years of engineering experience, enjoying coding, APIs, and building systems. Proficiency in Python, production‐quality code, APIs, and Git. AI & LLM fluency: experience building with OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, MCP, or similar. Automation mastery: deep experience with SOAR platforms (e.g., Tines) or custom workflows. Platform engineering mindset: maintain platform health, uptime, performance monitoring. Broad security knowledge in IR, Cloud, GRC, AppSec to understand automation scope. Problem‐solving at scale; obsessed with efficiency and 100x scalability. Autonomous ownership & grit: end‐to‐end ownership, proactive, resilient, with judgment to seek help when needed. Nice to Have Experience building internal developer platforms or security data lakes. Familiarity with data engineering concepts. Experience with MCP or building custom AI tools. Background in software engineering before moving into security. How You'll Work You'll be part of a team that acts as the "Special Forces" of engineering within the security organization.
