This is a highly senior, hands-on leadership role where you will define platform standards, drive architectural decisions, and guide teams in building reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure.You will act as a technical reference for platform engineering practices, working closely with engineering, data, and product teams to ensure the platform enables fast, safe, and efficient delivery across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesTake end-to-end ownership of the platform architecture and its evolution on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Lead the design, implementation, and operation of shared platform services supporting multiple engineering teams.Define and enforce platform standards, best practices, and guardrails.Drive automation initiatives using Python to improve reliability, scalability, and developer experience.Design and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform as the single source of truth.Lead the design and operation of container platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.Own and evolve CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps (ADO).Provide technical leadership and mentorship to platform and cloud engineers.Partner with stakeholders to translate business and product requirements into platform capabilities.Ensure platform observability, stability, and performance through proactive monitoring and continuous improvement.Lead incident response and root cause analysis for platform-related issues.Drive continuous improvement by staying up to date with platform engineering and cloud-native best practices.La siguiente información tiene como objetivo proporcionar a los posibles candidatos una mejor comprensión de los requisitos para este puesto.Required Skills and ExperienceExtensive hands-on experience with Python for platform automation and tooling.Proven experience leading CI/CD strategies using GitHub Actions.Strong expertise in Terraform for managing cloud infrastructure at scale.Solid experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Vertex AI.Strong practical knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker in production environments.Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) in complex engineering environments.Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and influence engineering teams.Strong architectural thinking and decision-making skills.Excellent problem-solving capabilities in complex, distributed systems.Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.Experience working in agile and DevOps-driven environments.Ability to communicate fluently in English.Preferred QualificationsExperience acting as a technical lead or platform owner in complex environments.Background in building internal platforms used by multiple teams. xsgfvudExperience supporting data and AI workloads in production environments.#J-18808-Ljbffr
