This does not mean we expect you to know absolutely everything. You will have your areas of expertise and things you’ll like more than others. However, you will be exposed (and sometimes deeply working) on all layers of the stack: from the front‑end to our APIs and databasesAs a mid, you will help and support other members of the team. You are expected to take a leading role in new initiatives and to need a minimal amount of supervision and support. You will still be an individual contributor, but you’ll also need planning and communication skills way beyond just “doing your work”: You will have agency and accountability.Not only that, but you will have a voice in the way we shape the future of technology at Flanks.Our current tech stack Python or JS/Typescript on our back‑end, using async frameworks and tooling for most parts.Vue and Nuxt in our front‑ends.Running on GKEPowered by MongoDB, PostgreSQL and ElasticsearchAlso, Github, Github actions, Redis, RabbitMQ and other usual suspects.Things we'd love to see on you You are a nice person: We don’t tolerate bigotry or toxic behavior—just good vibes.At least 4 years on an Engineer Software role.Autonomous coder: You don’t need your work double‑checked—you’re on top of it.You know your way around collaborating with others using standard tooling (git, github PR's, etc).You are a good communicator who knows how to express problems, solutions and trade‑offs.On the other hand, you know how to read and understand job offers You can triage what’s important and what’s not.Focused: You know how to read between the lines and prioritize what matters most.You can work with both legacy and greenfield codeYou take ownership of problems.Wealth knowledge: A little expertise in investments, currencies, crypto, or wealth management is a plus.You live in Spain and are close enough to Barcelona to commute to the office once a month by your own means.
