As a Network Administrator (m/f/d), you will share responsibility for ensuring the availability and security of our customers' data center and network infrastructure. These exciting tasks await you: Development, planning, implementation and administration of:Data center infrastructures LAN, SD-WAN Network security, firewall solutions from manufacturers like Cisco and Fortinet Layer 2 and Layer 3 configuration of customer sites Ensuring maximum availability and network security Documenting the network structure using Microsoft Visio Planning, coordination, and execution of system installations Second & Third Level support for pre-qualified incidents in the areas of routers, switches, and firewalls Participation in a weekly rotating 24/7 on-call duty (separately compensated) Your profile: Knowledge of routing and switching and common routing protocols Experience with firewall solutions, preferably from Cisco and Fortinet First experience with network security (e.g. Cisco Identity Services Engine) Ideally, manufacturer certifications (e.g., CCNA) ITIL knowledge is a plus Strong technical understanding, independent working style, and high level of service orientation Very good German and good English skills Mandatory Requirements: Nationality or Work Authorization: Spanish or Portuguese nationality, or alternatively a permanent work permit/VISA for Spain or Portugal. Language Proficiency: Advanced level of Spanish and English (both written and spoken). Why Syntax?
