Senior Data Scientist Madrid (Remote / Hybrid) About the Role We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with a strong scientific mindset and relevant experience to help us bring societal impacts to market and make a difference. You will be part of a team of over 20 international data scientists who come from top academic institutions and tech companies. What You’ll Be Doing Improving the performance and lifecycle of production ML systems, ensuring scalability and rapid issue resolution. Collaboratively designing and deploying end‑to‑end ML models, LLMs, and agent systems that deliver transparent and accurate sustainability data to customers. Leading the strategy and execution of proofs of concept to validate technical feasibility. Translating business goals into technical requirements and proactively identifying new opportunities. Enabling decision‑making by effectively communicating technical insights to non‑technical stakeholders. What You’ll Need 3+ years of experience working on data science products. Strong command of the Python data‑science ecosystem (Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit‑Learn, etc.). Proficiency working in collaborative codebases and scalable machine learning production environments. Solid software engineering fundamentals (testing, code review, design, performance). Up‑to‑date experience with LLMs, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval‑Augmented Generation), vector databases, evaluation, and safety guardrails. A strong commitment to sustainability and impact. A willingness to learn and share knowledge with the team. Transparency and a focus on effective, constructive communication. High motivation, independence, and a deep passion for making an impact through data science. Excellent oral and written English communication skills (minimum C1 level proficiency). Nice to Have Experience in a startup. MSc/PhD degree in CS/EE/STEM or related field. Experience with fintech, data products, or sustainability/ESG domains.
