About the role: We are seeking an experienced Network Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network security principles , with a focus on firewalls, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and policy orchestration. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing network security measures to protect our organization's data and infrastructure. This Network Security Specialist will join our growing Secure Connectivity team, part of Cyber Technology. This position will be located in our Barcelona office or remotely in Europe. What you'll do: Review, implement, and manage firewall policies and configurations to ensure robust network security. Design, implement and maintain ZTNA frameworks to enhance the security posture of our network. Improve policy orchestration processes to improve security operations efficiency. Support network security assessments and environment analysis to identify and mitigate risks. Support and respond to and resolve network security incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into network infrastructure projects. Maintain and update network security documentation, including policies, procedures, and configurations. Keep abreast of emerging security technologies and industry best practices to continually improve network defenses. What we're kindly looking for: 6+ years relevant experience in IT. Almost 2 years in network security field. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of firewalls, ZTNA, and policy orchestration. Familiarity with network protocols, routing, and switching. Experience with security incident response and mitigation.
