Senior Bot DeveloperAbout the JobOur Conversational AI (CAI) Tribe is focused on revolutionizing customer care with AI-driven Voice and Chatbot services, in collaboration with Contact Center Solutions (CCS).We are seeking a Senior Bot Developer to lead the design and development of advanced conversational AI solutions, with a strong emphasis on agentic AI , system integration , and mentorship . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and is passionate about shaping the future of intelligent automation at Allianz.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect scalable bot frameworks, integrate them with enterprise systems, and guide junior developers through best practices and technical excellence.What you doLead the design and development of agentic AI bots capable of autonomous decision-making and multi-step task execution.Architect and implement integrations with internal systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, ticketing platforms) and external APIs.Mentor and coach junior and mid-level bot developers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define bot behaviors and user journeys.Ensure bots are compliant with enterprise security, privacy, and performance standards.Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, technical workshops, and knowledge sharing.What you bringProven experience (5+ years) in bot development , preferably with platforms like Cognigy, Microsoft Bot Framework, Rasa, Dialogflow, or similar.Deep understanding of agentic AI principles , including goal-oriented agents, memory, and planning.Strong background in system integration , RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures.Experience with LLMs , prompt engineering, and orchestration frameworks is a plus.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Fluency in English; Spanish or other European languages are a plusWhat we offerWe offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad.We believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location).From career development and digital learning programs to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery and empowerment are fostered.Flexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can teach.About Allianz TechnologyWith its headquarters in Munich, Germany, Allianz Technology is Allianz's global IT service provider and delivers IT solutions that drive the group's digitalization.
