We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer with outstanding software development talent, who cares about code quality and delivering right, not just fast. You will contribute to Fever’s engineering vision and help build scalable, high-quality systems. Define and drive long-term engineering vision and strategy in collaboration with other team members. Lead and execute large-scale engineering projects aligned with strategic goals and technical excellence. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers at all levels. Ensure best practices, code quality, and development efficiency through reviews and technical leadership. Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to keep Fever at the forefront of engineering advancements. Six months: own and evolve components of the system, steer part of the technical roadmap, mentor senior engineers, and lead ambitious initiatives. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. ~8+ years in software engineering in agile environments, including 3+ years in technical leadership. ~ Strong knowledge of design patterns, testing, and distributed systems. ~ Experience designing scalable systems, networking, resilience, and migrating monoliths to microservices. ~ Ability to deliver code from development to production with high quality. ~ Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken). Django/Flask, PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery with RabbitMQ, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and experience with agile methodologies and event-driven architectures.
