As a Tech Lead, you will be crucial in defining our technical standards and guiding the development team toward our strategic goals. Role Overview We are searching for a highly experienced and technically profound Full Stack Tech Lead to drive the architecture and execution of our core technology stack. You will serve as the technical authority for the team, owning the end-to-end delivery of our applications built on C#/.NET and Next.js, and leveraging the full capabilities of Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires a blend of hands-on coding (approximately 50-60% of the time), strategic architectural thinking, and dedicated mentorship to ensure the team delivers robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions within a fast-paced, collaborative, and Agile framework. Key Responsibilities Architectural Ownership: Define, document, and enforce the technical vision, architecture standards, and design patterns for the C# backend and Next.js frontend, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability requirements. Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of developers, conducting regular code reviews, promoting best practices, and facilitating knowledge sharing to raise the overall engineering bar. Strategic Planning: Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Engineering Management to refine the technical roadmap, estimate complex features, manage technical debt, and ensure timely project delivery within the Agile framework. Full Stack Development: Remain hands-on with development, implementing complex features, solving critical performance bottlenecks, and performing deep-dive debugging across the entire C# / Next.js stack. GCP Platform Strategy: Own the deployment, monitoring, observability, and scaling strategy on Google Cloud Platform, standardising usage of services. Process Improvement: Champion Agile methodologies, optimising team processes, improving CI/CD pipelines, and establishing metrics for system health and engineering velocity. Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for internal stakeholders, translating complex technical decisions into clear, concise business terms. Requirements 7+ years of progressive experience in software development, with significant time spent in an architectural or technical leadership capacity. Proven track record leading technical teams or large-scale project deliveries in an Agile environment. Expert-level proficiency in C# and the .NET framework for designing and implementing high-throughput microservices and APIs. Expert-level proficiency in Next.js/React, including deep knowledge of performance optimisation, state management, and server-side rendering architecture. Extensive experience architecting and managing cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including cost optimisation and security best practices. Comprehensive understanding of software architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, domain-driven design) and their practical application. Exceptional communication skills, leadership presence, and the ability to drive consensus on technical direction. Fluency in Russian is required to effectively communicate and collaborate with core team members and stakeholders. Nice-to-Have Skills Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Terraform, for managing GCP resources. Deep knowledge of advanced testing strategies (e.g., contract testing, end-to-end testing across the full stack). Experience with large-scale data processing or streaming technologies on GCP (e.g., Dataflow, BigQuery).
