Postdoctoral Research resignation At The Nanobioengineering Research GroupIntroduction to the Vacant PositionWithin the framework of the project Prueba de Concepto RTAPREMED, whose objective is to develop a novel microfluidic device for functional tracking of apoptosis for precision medicine, the Cell death, senescence and cancer precision medicine group led by Dr. Joan Montero at the University of Barcelona, together with the Nanobioengineering group led by Dr. Josep Samitier at IBEC, is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to work on a microfluidic precision medicine project led by Dr. Joan Montero.ResponsibilitiesBH3 profilingMicrofluidic apoptotic measurementsPrimary samples analysesQualificationsPh.D. in Biology, Biochemistry or a related field.High level of English and Spanish and/or Catalan.Experience in molecular biology, microfluidics and BH3 profiling.High motivation and ability to work in an international multidisciplinary team.Excellent team working, initiative and problem‑solving capabilities.Experience in molecular laboratory work.OfferNumber of available positions: 1Starting date: April ****Working ConditionsFull time, 20‑month contract.Very competitive salary.Measures to reconcile work and family life (maternity and paternity leave, flexible schedule, teleworking, 23 working days of paid holidays, 9 leave days for personal matters, among others).IBEC ensures equality of access to professional development opportunities regardless of employment status, length at IBEC or other factors.The IBEC yearly training catalogue offers a wide range of training in technical and transferable skills including mobility grants and a mentoring programme for pre‑doctoral and post‑doctoral researchers.Stimweiten, interdisciplinary research and high‑quality international scientific environment.Induction programme to facilitate integration at IBEC and additional support is provided for foreigners to obtain visa‑working permits and to settle in Barcelona.ApplicationUntil April 3rd, an online application form is available through IBEC dedicated site: /.Only those applications submitted before the deadline will be evaluated.
