We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Business Intelligence Engineer to join us to contribute and improve seller growth at Amazon. We are a dedicated group of BIE, DE, DS, AS and BAs, our mission is to deliver data-driven analytical solutions that empower sellers to thrive on Amazon's global platform. We specialize in constructing and maintaining intricate standard data pipelines and reporting pipelines that help Product managers make decisions to measure, derive and analyze performance of the sellers on Amazon, the supporting tools and the seller facing products.Key job responsibilitiesOwn the development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards on the key drivers of our businessPartner with Product Managers and business teams to consult, develop and implement KPI’s, automated reporting solutions and infrastructure improvements to meet business needsDevelop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support business needsPerform both ad-hoc and strategic analysesStrong verbal/written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.Basic Qualifications3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experienceExperience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar toolsExperience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelinesExperience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and MatlabExperience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modelingPreferred QualificationsExperiment with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and RedshiftExperience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasetsMaster's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative fieldOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
