Senior Fullstack Developer

This role will be responsible for evolving our customer-facing web experiences across a range of features, from dashboards and permissions to offline-first logic and API integrations. The right candidate will help unify our codebases, contribute to design consistency, and accelerate delivery across both platforms. This role also focuses on scaling our backend systems, improving performance, and supporting multiple third-party integrations.Your responsibilities:Maintain and extend Laravel codebase (v10+, MVC)Collaborate on REST API design with frontend and mobile teamsRefactor legacy features for stability and performanceIntegrate Xero, Lightspeed, Pronto, Stripe, WindcaveOptimize data-heavy processes and queue workersSupport scalable, observable backend architectureBuild and maintain features using React (Next.js)Develop role-based access controls, dashboards, and calendarsWork with REST APIsContribute to frontend architecture and performance improvementsWe are working on solutions with the following tech stack:APILaravel, PHP 8.2+, MySQL, Redis, HorizonGitLab CI/CD, AWS Elastic BeanstalkVue.js (minimal usage, refactor planned)Key Libraries:Auth: Passport, Sanctum, Two-Factor, JWTData/Utils: Spatie, GeoIP, Metable, HashidsIntegrations: Stripe, Xero, Firebase, LightspeedMonitoring: Sentry, Slack Alerts, Log ViewerPDF/Excel: DomPDF, MaatwebsiteFrontend (Web):React 18, Next.js 14, TypeScriptKey libraries and tools:MUI, Styled Components, EmotionRedux Toolkit, Redux PersistSlate/Plate editors, ApexCharts, FullCalendarFirebase, Intercom, StripeGoogle Maps, CSV/Excel toolsTo succeed in this role, you’ll need a positive attitude and the following:5+ years Laravel/PHP, React/Next.js developmentRESTful API architecture and third-party integration experienceStrong database and queue system understandingLegacy code comfort and performance tuningSolid REST API integration experienceStrong understanding of UX, accessibility, performanceFamiliarity with real-time updates and state handlingNice to Have SkillsFamiliarity with field service or logistics SaaS applicationsPrevious experience implementing role-based permissions, rich dashboards, and real-time UIsIoT or Bluetooth device integration experienceAWS (Elastic Beanstalk, S3, RDS)Vue.js experienceAccounting/logistics integration familiarityIoT platform exposureAt Fluidra, we are committed to both the professional and personal development of our employees.
