We look for an intern that understands hardware or software (mechanical is a plus) in order to develop fixtures able to demonstrate the boards and products we build are perfect before being sent to the customer. Detailed Description The student will collaborate in different hardware or/and software activities related to the test on-going projects, always under the guidance and supervision of the responsible engineers. Tasks to be performed will be related to create hardware, software or both solutions for testing the products in the manufacturing process. We need to assure what we are sending to our customers works perfectly.In the hardware side, the most typical duties are creating schematics, debug real hardware issues (You will need to be patient to find the problem between all those cables) and develop your own hardware solutions. If you have 3D printing skills or mechanical skills, they are welcome here tooIn the software side, the most typical duties are programming test sequences, programming software tools and understand the whole test automation in order to help with the debug.You will be one of the components of the development team, contributing with your point of view and proposing solutions and alternatives aimed to overcome the different challenges that a development project presents. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies If you are like this, we are waiting for you:- Knowledge on electronic circuit design. Datasheet evaluation. Ability to read electrical diagrams.- Programming skills: Labview, Python, C#, C++...- Knowledge on the use of any circuit design software (OrCad for example).- Fluent in English, both written and oral.- Collaborative, entrepreneur, looking for getting things done. Typical Experience Not specific experience is needed for this position. A degree or master related with Electronics, Telecommunications, Mechatronics or Computer Engineering is enough.If you have experience creating projects DIY at home or at the university.
