Senior Graphic Designer

Description Position at VIPRE Security Group WE ARE ONLY CONSIDERING CANDIDATES LOCATED IN MEXICO FOR THIS POSITION. Applications without a portfolio or a working portfolio link will not be considered. The Opportunity: This is a creative position and we’re looking for someone with great energy, vision, and talent. This position works closely with the content development teams both in the US and Mexico to ensure on-time and quality products. Key Responsibilities: Creating fresh high-quality designs and graphics to illustrate eLearning courses. Generating storyboards for course slides and animations. Collaborating with the Development and Multimedia Team on visual standards and strategy. Reviewing and providing feedback on course graphics and designs created by other graphic artists. Staying abreast of current graphic trends. Sourcing readily available materials for our media library. Playing an active role as a creative solutions contributor to development teams. Education and Experience Outstanding portfolio of visual graphics work. Strong conceptual and design skills. Experience working with 2D graphics software, including proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Competent with Google Workspace. Minimum 3‑5 years of experience working as a Graphic Artist, Graphic Designer, Multimedia Artist or in a related field. Preference given to those with eLearning experience. College degree preferred in a related field. Strong proactive communication skills. Excellent grammar and written communications skills. Must be self‑directed. Must be highly organized and detail‑oriented, with a commitment to get the job done right. Strong Experience with illustrating content. Strong experience with Responsive design. Experience with Accessibility web design (WCAG 2.0). Familiarity with svg edition, lottie files. Desired, but not required: Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools. Examples: Adobe Captivate, Storyline, (Lectora (ELB), or Flow (Dominknow). Familiarity with Figma. Familiarity with HTML5, XML, CSS. Familiarity with JIRA, Slack, Zoom. Familiarity with 3D and 2D animation software. Illustration skills. Competency Strong grammatical, prioritization, and communication skills Fluent in English. Superior aesthetic appreciation. Extremely Strong attention to detail. Ability to self‑manage while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high‑quality standard. Able to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams (sometimes remotely) to create the most visually compelling illustrations & media that support the content of our training products. Ability to work successfully with a global, virtual team Demonstrated ability to be a creative, self‑reliant, self‑organizing problem solver while working in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to analyze current graphic trends and adapt/ apply them as needed to enhance our eLearning course library. Ability to work well under deadline pressures. Compensation Range Please be sure to review the US pay transparency guidance document here and include the below for any locations where a salary range is required. Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The salary compensation for this role is 25,000 MXN to 30,000 MXN. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.
