GL Accountant

Eurovision Services is looking for a GL Accountant to join our Finance Department on a temporary contract (6 months), reporting to our Head of Accounting.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION: As a GL Accountant, you will be responsible for the following activities: Preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the entire group (covering all legal entities); Audit financial statements: correct mistakes as necessary and interpret the accuracy of financial documents; Analyse financial information, ensure the data supports budgeting and forecasting requirements - provide solutions to control issues; Support Monthly and annual close processes: record information, such as accrual, deferral, reclass, and intradepartmental entries into the company’s accounting ledger - perform account analysis to make sure that entries and balances are correct; Prepare journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation, journal entries relating to amortization, depreciation, accruals, and a variety of other information; Ensure that entries align with generally accepted accounting principles; Preparation and filing of VAT; Revenue recognition accounting. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years in a similar position Knowledge of technical accounting functions, and bookkeeping Some experience with Dynamics 365 (NAV) or AX Some experience with process automation, IFRS and Swiss gap Strong collaboration, influencing, and communication skills The ability to interact with ease, confidence, and credibility at all levels A proactive approach, and the ability to build consensus The ability to adapt to and drive, changing demands and conditions A flexible can-do attitude, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision Proficiency in English French or Spanish: nice to have ONCE ON BOARD YOU WILL: Be part of an outstanding multi-cultural and international team Occasionally travel to our headquarters in Switzerland for workshops and training Work in a start-up culture that has a consolidated business behind it BENEFITS AND PERKS: Competitive salary and benefits 28 working days of vacation for all employees A flexible 40-hour working week for work-life balance Ticket restaurant card Public transport card Choose your own laptop backpack
