Corporate Data Specialist

Grupo Palex is a leading and continuously growing group in the hospital and healthcare solutions sector. We are currently looking for a Corporate Data Specialist to join our Corporate Business Partner / Data & Analytics area, based in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona) . The role works closely with Business, Finance, IT, and other strategic corporate areas, as well as with local Business Partners and Data teams across the Group. This position plays a key role in defining and governing the Group’s corporate data, ensuring that data generated across different countries and companies is structured, consistent, and of high quality to support group-wide reporting, analytics, and strategic decision-making. The role operates in a complex, multi-company and multi-ERP environment. Main Responsibilities •      Data Management & Governance o  Define and maintain the target business data model to be applied consistently across all Group companies. o  Establish group-wide standards for data structure, definitions, hierarchies, and master data domains. o  Define, manage, and ensure the quality of commercial and corporate data that will be integrated in Palex Group Data Lake. o  Design and oversee data validation and control mechanisms to ensure data integrity with IT support / Data Architecture. Ensuring data completeness and consistency across the countries (multiple ERP envoirments) o  Own and manage critical corporate and commercial master data required for group-level monitoring and reporting. o  Work closely with IT and Data Architecture teams to identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplications, and structural issues. o  Ensure compliance with Data Governance policies, including data ownership, workflows, access rights, and usage rules. o  Maintain continuous interaction with local Data Governance leads across Group companies, and working closely and in coordination with the Data Architecture Manager (IT). •      Corporate Data Coordination & Data Quality Assurance o  Act as the central coordinator of corporate data at Group level, ensuring alignment between country-level data generation and group-wide data requirements. o  Define clear guidelines and standards for how data must be generated, structured, and delivered by each country and business unit o  Ensure that data provided by different countries complies with agreed group definitions, formats, and quality standards before being used for corporate reporting and analytics. o  Serve as the main interface between country data contributors and the corporate reporting and analytics teams, ensuring data is fit for purpose and ready for report development. o  Monitor data quality KPIs (accuracy, completeness, timeliness, consistency) and lead remediation actions when deviations are identified. o  Reduce manual reconciliation efforts by proactively managing data standardization and alignment across countries. o  Enable efficient and reliable development of group-level reports by ensuring that underlying data is structured, validated, and traceable. •      Advanced Analytics o  Develop analytical models and frameworks that provide actionable insights and advanced decision support for Corporate Management and Business Partner teams. o  Support in cross-functional projects which data management is key factor o  Work closely with Business Partner teams to translate business questions into robust analytical use cases supported by high-quality data. •      Commercial Data Integration o  Participate in the integration of newly acquired businesses, ensuring proper incorporation of their commercial data into the Group data ecosystem. o  Ensure alignment and coherence of commercial data impacting other areas (Finance, HR, Controlling, etc.). o  Provide data and analytical support during integration projects in collaboration with Business Partners and local Data Managers. Profile we are looking for ·      We are looking for a professional with strong experience in business/ Finance data management, BI and advanced analytics, ideally within complex, multi-company environments. ·      Background in Business Analytics, Data Management, Engineering, Economics or similar. ·      Proven experience in data governance, commercial data models and BI environments. ·      Strong knowledge of BI tools such as Qlik Sense, Excel and/or Power BI. ·      Experience working with forecasting, budgeting, and advanced analytical models. ·      High level of English is essential. ·      Strong analytical mindset, structured thinking and ability to translate business needs into data solutions. ·      Proactive, collaborative and comfortable working with both business and technical stakeholders. ·      Experience in integration projects, multi-ERP environments or corporate roles within international groups will be highly valued.
